Not-for-profit organisations benefit from significant discounting to support good governance

BoardOutlook makes a limited number of grants available to eligible not-for-profit organisations. Under this program, not for profit organisations with annual revenue of up to $50m can apply for pro-bono access to one of BoardOutlook’s processes. Not-for-profits in excess of $50m annual revenue or those looking to benefit from all other tools and processes, can access the platform at a significant discount. Grants are allocated on a needs basis.

What is the Grant program?

BoardOutlook offers a generous grant program of up to $50k in kind for not-for-profit organisations to use the BoardOutlook platform to conduct rigorous board performance processes. This program gives eligible not-for-profit organisations access to the same platform used by many ASX100 organisations to ensure a comprehensive governance review.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible for the Grant Program, your organisation must:

• Have annual revenue of up to $50m to qualify for support at no cost
• Hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status or equivalent
• Have an appropriately established board of directors

Each of these factors is decided in the sole determination of BoardOutlook, on the basis of the information you provide to us.

What training is provided?

​​​​We offer a detailed training workshop as part of your onboarding program for directors and board support staff. Whilst the BoardOutlook platform has been designed to be usable ‘out of the box’ for directors, we strongly recommend that the Chair and any other key board stakeholders attend this session to understand how to get the best from the platform (and build your roadmap for use over time).

Does the grant renew in subsequent years?

BoardOutlook will typically renew approved grants annually (so long as you continue to meet eligibility criteria).
